Fighting in Vietnam’s communist leadership is increasingly turned into a fierce wild environment.
There has never been a term in which the number of Politburo members has fallen as much as now – 7 members were eliminated and 1 person died. There has also never been a term in which the “Four Pillars” have been “overthrown” as much as this term. The General Secretary’s seat has been taken in turns by 2 officials; the State President’s position has been taken in turns by 4 people; the National Assembly Chairman’s post has also changed hands; only Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh remains stable.
Although there is only more than one year left until the 14th party’s National Congress, there is no guarantee that the PM’s seat will not change hands. In particular, the Advanced International Co. (AIC) case is still being manipulated by former police chief and incumbent party boss To Lam, until the mastermind in politics is found out.
The Communist leadership has always been like that, on the surface they deceive the people that what they do is only for all kinds of noble goals. However, inside, in the hidden part that people cannot see, they fight like a real Mafia organization. Here, there are no rules respected, only the strong win and the weak lose according to the rules of wild animals.
The 2021-2026 term has 2 officials who died mysteriously, Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh and retired military Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh. The first is said to have died due to the internal fighting while the second died because he was said to have “known too much” so he needed to shut up forever.
Further, the “mysterious” deaths of Pham Quy Ngo, Nguyen Ba Thanh, and Tran Dai Quang, also left big doubts in public opinion.
Notably, as more and more political fighters fall off the stage, their mysterious deaths also increase. That is why public opinion does not believe that those deaths were actually due to natural causes. Public opinion believes that this is a way to defeat opponents, both quickly and safely.
The political arena during the time of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and PM Nguyen Tan Dung was not the main playground for police and military generals. At that time, the generals were just tools, assisting the factions in fighting each other.
However, at this time, in the “Four Pillars” with 4 seats, 3 of which were held by military and police generals. Therefore, it can be seen that from now on, the arena will be a fight between generals. And once the military generals take action, the murderous aura is very strong.
The leadership has always fought each other anytime, anywhere. Nowadays, they not only fight to the death in the dark, but also in the light. They also do not need to be careful about the rules like before.
Lam put Luong Tam Quang in the Politburo without paying attention to the regulation that he must be a member of the Central Committee for a full term or more. Luong Cuong also jumped right into the position of State President without respecting the regulation that he must be a member of the Politburo for a full term or more.
Previously, Trong was in a high position, tearing up the law to reward himself. Now, this law-breaking game has become an epidemic, spreading quickly in the Politburo. Whoever can tear it up, will tear it up, as long as they have the ability to tear it up. Therefore, the Communist leadership in the coming time promises to be a lawless chaos.
This term has had 2 suspicious deaths, perhaps, that is not the final number. Currently, internal sources say that Politburo member Defense Minister Phan Van Giang’s kidney disease is almost beyond cure. General Giang may not be able to handle his post until the end of his term. Giang used to be a very good fighting general, he defeated Luong Cuong 4 years ago, but it seems that he was “hit.” That shows that the political arena has become a real, very fierce battlefield. The winner today, will most likely become someone’s victim tomorrow.
