the police. He is currently at the police department of Sóc Sơn District,
together with 6 other persons, all women…
At least 11 cars were towed by the
authorities and at the same time, many people were arrested at the BOT
tollbooth Thăng Long – Nội Bài. Many of them were women.
There are currently about 20 people
arrested and other people could not be identified.

Many of Vietnams motorways and national
routes are cooperation projects between companies which build and operate the
roads for a certain time and after that transfer them to the government.
Currently there are 67 BOT roads in Vietnam. Many of them faced opposition by
the people because they are claimed to be collecting fares incorrectly or the
location of the tollbooth seems to be wrong.
