A dictatorship creates monopoly enterprise model. With this regime, officials do not need to consider the people as an object to serve, they do not need to promise the people to settle the country’s problems but it self decides what and how to settle. If people react, it will label them “reactionary” and imprison them. Any dictatorship is the same and Vietnam is no exception. The regime imposes whatever it wants and forces the people to accept.
VinGroup relies on its complicated relationship with the authoritarian political system to develop. It is also very authoritarian, not only with its customers, but also with its employees. For the sake of money, its employees have to grit their teeth and endure the unreasonable pressure, minus salary, of the Group boss. Many people working for VinGroup are forced to buy VinFast cars, it does not give employees a choice.
With the same policy as the Communist government, VinGroup has raised a team of underground saboteurs on social networks. This force specializes in destroying social networking sites that “dare to speak badly” of VinFast or VinGroup. According to some victims of the red guards, they said that “Vin fans” are scarier than “red fans.” Because Vin fans are more carefully selected, more dangerous than red fans. This force is anonymous, however, does not escape the eyes of society as a whole.
Also an imitation of the Communist government’s deception policy, so is VinGroup of Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong. If the Communists say that “patriotism is love of socialism” or they say that opposing the Party is treason, then VinGroup will do the same. They swap the concept and use the media to lure customers into a trap.
It can be said that the trap “patriotic is to love VinFast” was launched quite successfully by Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong. Many people think that because of patriotism, they have to spend money to buy VinFast cars, and up to now, many people have suffered. Recently on OFFB channel, a picture of the status of a VinFast car owner was posted, when he first bought a car and then a year later, from eager, proud, then bored with this brand.
On December 24, 2022, a VinFast car owner with the nickname Son Tu wrote the following, “No matter who says it’s slanted, we’re as steady as three-legged! Once you’ve decided, you have to accept it and just experience it! Good and bad comments on trams later.”
However, 3 months later, this nick posted another status, with the content: “I think it’s probably VinFast is the most reckless business in the world! Electric cars have not been completed but have been sold on the market. I bought VF8 and ran and experienced more than 3000km before I found many features very flickering and had to be set up many times but still not finished. Especially in my opinion the most dangerous error is that the battery is hot, if the temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius, the air conditioner turns off and the car becomes a “sauna,” so far it has not been fixed! If this is sold in the US, it will lose right from the shipping round. Why they didd not make it perfect and fix the error and then deliver the car? Doing business in this way is a sure way to lead to failure!”
That is the confession of a customer who has been fascinated by the psychological manipulations based on VinFast’s patriotism. And once it does not improve product quality, dishonest in brand promotion, it can be said that VinFast is holding a shovel to dig a grave to bury itself.
In Vietnam, many people were overwhelmed with Pham Nhat Vuong’s huge fortune, in which, many people praised him. Especially, the praises of the intellectuals with economic knowledge became valuable advertisement for Pham Nhat Vuong. They, those same intellectuals did the work of attracting naive customers for Pham Nhat Vuong without knowing it. Lack of honesty with customers, lack of responsibility to customers is the fastest way to destroy the brand. VinFast is dying.
